Hey! Elise, here. I’m a 20-something year old fitness junkie, born and raised in the greater Boston area. I’m an ex-college basketball player turned personal trainer, yogi, group fitness instructor, social media consultant and now business owner! Let me take you through the short version of how I got here.
I have always been a huge fitness freak and competitive AF. My natural drive and competitive nature landed me a full scholarship to play collegiate basketball at Bentley University. During my time at Bentley, I went to the elite 8 & final four but unfortunately suffered two torn ACLs in the process. Long story short, my basketball career was over.
After college, I immersed myself into all things fitness. I started running my own strength clinics for high school players, teaching yoga in Punta Cana, growing my fitness Instagram account to over 30K followers, and countless other fitness endeavors. Fitness has been, and continues to be a passion of mine.
There are a lot of workouts that put a ridiculous amount of stress on your joints. After two reconstructive knee surgeries, I needed to find workouts that engaged me but were low impact. I can be easily distracted, so these workouts needed to be challenging, fun and effective. I wanted to find something that would get me in and out in 45 minutes, but felt like I was still getting a diesel full body workout.
After trying numerous studios and workouts, I found success to my healthy lifestyle was finding a balance. From pushing my cardio with low impact workouts to complementing it with strength training and yoga. In developing your healthy lifestyle, you will need to find your balance of cardio, strength and stretching. Our remixed row and sculpt classes will give you the cardio, strength and stretching while pushing your limits, no matter your fitness level, and 45 minutes will fly by! The four signature workouts were thoughtfully created to help you to find that balance, while offering different style classes and so you don’t burn out.
My Goal is to build a community that is motivating, fun and helps you hit your personal edge. In doing that, I hope that Sweat Fixx will help you maintain that balance your body needs. Fitness is not one size fits all and the vision of the studio is to provide the means for all of you to practice your balance and get your fixx!
As we creep closer to our grand opening, feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns or suggestions. This studio isn’t for me, it’s for you. I CAN NOT wait to share my passion with you come January 14th!

Hi Elise , sweat fixx sounds like a great fit for me. I’m having a partial knee replacement in February, was wondering if this is something that is low impact for me before and after my surgery?

Hey Cheryl! Of all the different cardio methods I think the rowers would be the safest for your knees. They are extremely low impact, and you control how hard you push & your intensity level! I’d check with your doctor post surgery to get her/his clearance to start working out again, but once you are good to go I would highly recommend our classes. I had two ACL surgeries on my knees and these are the only workouts that don’t leave my knees feeling sore after! Feel free to shoot me an email to chat more elise@sweatfixx.com
