We love our Sweat Fixx newbies! Everyone has had that first time experience walking into a new studio and unsure of what to do-but we are here to help! If you don't see your question answered below, feel free to shoot us an email at info@sweatfixx.com.
Because classes only have limited spots we highly recommend you sign up ahead of time. You can sign up for class here . Once you have booked your class through MindBody, you are good to go!
If it’s your first class, we suggest giving yourself a solid 10 minutes. Our awesome front desk staff will check you in and tell you everything you need to know.
Classes can be cancelled penalty-free up to 12 hours prior to class. Please note, that classes cancelled inside 12 hours will result in a ‘late cancel’ fee. Class pack clients will lose that class, and unlimited package clients will be charged a $10 late cancel fee. Please respect your fellow rowers and cancel any registered classes you know you cannot attend to give waitlisted clients the opportunity to strap in!
YES! Whether you have been hitting the weights and rowing for years, or you just decided now is the time to take your first fitness class, Sweat Fixx is the place for you! Before each class our instructors and front desk staff will get you set up with everything you need. All classes are designed to push each member to their hit their edge. There will be plenty of modifications to increase or decrease intensity.
Nope! In fact most people who come in have never rowed before. We will show you everything you need to know and you will become a pro in no time!
We have cubbies at the front of the studio for you to leave your things. Our front desk staff will be present and the doors will be locked to ensure the safety of all belongings. We have one bathroom which members can use to change. No showers, sorry!
Nope, any sneaker you wear to workout is good for our classes!
Our Wakefield studio have their own parking lots with parking in the front and back. Our Arlington and Beverly studio has plenty of street parking. Some which is metered so just leave yourself a few minutes to find a spot.
Yes! As long as your doctor has cleared you for exercise, and you are comfortable doing it — you can certainly Row with us during your pregnancy. Remember that eating enough, and drinking enough fluids are extremely important during pregnancy. Also, make sure to tell your instructor when you come in — so they can help you monitor your intensity level. When pregnant, you should steer clear of lying on the floor and twisting. We can provide modifications for you if those moves are in your class.
